At Nine Design, we make bespoke picture frames for oils, works on paper, photographs etc. We do not use ready made finished mouldings preferring to make frames in hardwood and finish ourselves, usually in gold leaf using the gilding techniques for which we are well known. These are very special fames and will enhance any treasured picture or artwork.
We are regularly commissioned to make frames for large scale exhibitions and our work is often on display in a leading Cork Street Gallery in London and locally within Suffolk.
We have a number of standard frame mouldings that we tend to use more often, but have many others available on request. In our finishes, we use a variety of gold leaf including 12ct white gold, 21.8ct moongold and 23.5ct yellow gold. We can also provide them in our standard metal leaf finishes or to your own specification (see finishes page in poles and accessories section).
